Free English Game Templates to Motivate Your Class
I'd like to introduce some English games that you can edit and use with your classroom. Some are a little more technical and some are quick and easy to play. If you have some good ideas as well, please feel free to post them here so that other teachers can use them.
I hope that some of these games and materials can help other teachers in their lessons :)
Pirate Barrel
Estimated time 10-15 minutes
This is a classic remake of a popular sword and barrel game with powerpoint. You can edit the QA with your own lesson plan, grammar or target sentence that you are teaching.
Click on the little parrot to load your question and click on the parrot again to reveal the answer. Once the student or team answer correctly - they can choose a sword to put in the barrel. However, if they choose the wrong sword a surprise will be awaiting them!
Note things you will need:
1. Laptop / computer
2. Powerpoint application
3. A monitor / TV / Projector (to connect your laptop)
Watch the instruction and grab the free template below. Note: Free template is in the description of the video.

Re: Free English Game Templates to Motivate Your Class
Here's a fun template you can use with your classroom. It's a racing game where students race to answer a question then the get to move their characters on the race course. Who ever reaches the finish line wins! It's a Mario Kart inspired theme. This can be played as 1 on 1 or as a team.
Hope you guys enjoy it! :)
Mario English Kart
Estimated time 15-20 minutes
Have the student choose a character for the race (either in a group) or 1 on 1 if you are using this online. After the student have selected a character just click on the instruction to go to the Q&A slide. The Q&A slide can be easily edited to fit your classroom lesson.
If the student is able to answer- they can move their character on the race track. If they are unable to answer - their turn is skipped.

Re: Free English Game Templates to Motivate Your Class
This is a simple game that you can use in the classroom. You can use any target sentence or vocabulary for it. It can also be used for a speaking or writing game. The rule is simple, the student or team who do the coolest stunts earn (money). However they can also lose money if they fail a stunt. If you are teaching in a classroom, I would highly recommend making groups and giving them a team name. If you are using this one-on-one you can just add the students name where it says (team 1, 2, 3...) etc.

Try something fun with your student. Here's a bowling game that you can use to motivate your students to speak and write. You can edit this free template as a speaking game or a writing game (it's really up to you). Also, if you have used this game in a lesson - then I hope that you can share your ideas with other teachers on this forum, too :)

Happy Holiday everyone! Here's a simple ESL game to try with your students. Test their eyes and English speaking skills. If the animation is too fast, you can go to (Animation Pane) (Timing) and adjust it to make it slower. Hope it's useful. Let me know what you think.

Re: Free English Game Templates to Motivate Your Class
Hey guys! St. Paddy's Day is just around the corner, so I made this little PowerPoint game that you can use for a St. Patrick's Day lesson or just to enjoy English with your students. But you can use this PowerPoint game however way you want. Hope you enjoy it.
1. Play one-on-one or in a small group of 3 teams.
2. Edit the template to match your lesson / grammar.
3. Student answer correct - They can choose a "Lucky Charm" - Collect ALL 8 Charms - Wins!
I highly recommend downloading the template and using it on your laptop/computer. If you use it directly from Google Slide, you may lose some function and access to certain things for this ppt template.

Re: Free English Game Templates to Motivate Your Class
Hello fellow teachers! Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃 Here's a simple game your can use with your classroom. I made it with the intention to help my students practice writing vocabulary/sentences but you can try to use it in a different way.
-First introduce some vocabulary. It can be related to Thanksgiving if you want.
-Edit the ppt with the vocabulary that you practiced.
-Introduce the game and explain that, they will have to decide a word/vocabulary or sentence to write down.
-Next run the game to see if they get lucky with their choice.
-They can also keep track of their own points on their paper or you can keep track of the point on a whiteboard.
Again, you can modify this game to fit your lesson.
This game usually runs about 20-25 minutes but you can even extend it by adding more slides. Check out the video to see how you can do it.

I've stopped playing games lately. It's not that I've lost interest in them completely, but I have so many other exciting things to do that I simply don't find time for games. I recently read about the United States, came across an article about no deposit bonus codes 2024 usa and studied it for 2 hours. I think this is exactly what is needed. Games are already a passed stage. I already get dizzy if I play for more than 30 minutes. It's probably age.
