Question for those in Vietnam!

Hi,

I have a question regarding Bachelors Degrees. I'm from the UK and I taught English in Vietnam for two years from 2017-2019. Bachelor degrees in the UK are 3 years. They always have been, and this was never a problem for the work permit etc.

However, I'm seeing in a few places now "four year degree" as a requirement. Is this simply because undergraduate degrees in North America are four years and the information is being aim at them, or have the requirements changed?

Curious to know.
