Re: dealing with reluctent students is challenging
These kind of students are the worst. It's just not possible to teach them efficiently. The only thing I can suggest is that you give them one or two extra classes so that you can teach them basics and make them understand the basic theories and concepts. Maybe then they will follow what you are try...

Re: How can I make my teaching lively?

Re: Family travelling with you as a teacher
If you and your husband have legit jobs, then there is no issue since your reasons will be legit.
I don't think you should worry too much about all of this and just go for it.

Re: Help teaching IELTS band 5-6.5
Does anyone here teach IELTS? I need help with the 5-6.5 band book. My students HATE it and I cannot blame them; it's wordy, boring and difficult. I need inspiration on how to bring the book to life. Anyone? I know it is a tough job to keep students interested in boring old english language but may...

Re: Teaching grammar to teen difficulties
Sometimes I face this issue. I realize that students tend not to ask what a particular word's meaning is and that leads to a lot of confusion later on.
Then there is an issue of losing interest in the lesson that I am teaching.
