Does anyone here teach IELTS?

I need help with the 5-6.5 band book.

My students HATE it and I cannot blame them; it's wordy, boring and difficult.

I need inspiration on how to bring the book to life.

I know it is a tough job to keep students interested in boring old english language but maybe if you conducted interactive quizzes somehow, you may be able to get them more excited about english.

There are four task one tests and there are four tasks two tests.

My experience is that students become more motivated to write and revise when they receive an immediate score and feedback.
