Difference between emotional and mental

Unread post by julianaigbinosun »

Understanding the difference between emotional and mental well-being is crucial for effectively managing mood disorders. Emotional well-being refers to the ability to manage and express feelings in a healthy way, ensuring that emotions like happiness, sadness, and anger are experienced appropriately. Mental well-being, on the other hand, encompasses cognitive processes such as thinking, memory, and problem-solving. While both aspects are interconnected, addressing the difference between emotional and mental health can help in creating more targeted strategies for coping with mood disorders, ensuring a holistic approach to overall well-being.

I've always thought that these are very interconnected things. At least for me. Although I guess if I don't do any crazy things when my emotions are boiling, my mental health turns out to be different. Thanks for sharing
