Choosing a topic for a lesson plan
Could you help me with a topic and advice for my final lesson in my TESOL course. I have to choose a reading or listening topic for beginners and cannot seem to get any advice. Thank you.
Re: Choosing a topic for a lesson plan
Dear Trish,
I am amazed that you are getting no help choosing your topic. You need to speak to your tutor about this. Any good tutor will help you choose a topic.
If your tutor really won't help, look at the topics the students have studied recently. You can then choose a completely new topic or something related to what they have already done.
Don't spend too much time thinking about the topic. Just choose one that everybody can contribute to. Once you have the topic, you can spend your time on the actual lesson planning; it's important to get this step out of the way.
I cannot give you a topic; it's your class and your final exam. It has to be your work.
Good luck,
Lucy
