Hi There! consequences
I hope you can help me out... I'm about to sign a contract to start teaching in Febuary of 2010 in Taiwan. My problem is Im only thinking of doing a year and I may decide to study back in my home country South Africa. If I do decide to study again in 2011 then I must be back in South Africa by January. Therefor I will have to quit my job a month before my contract ends :(
Will I damage my reputation as a TEFL teacher in Taiwan? What I mean is will I be able to go back to Taiwan lets say in like 3 years and TEFL again, or will the country not grant me a VISA because I "terminated" my previous contract therefor "terminating" my work visa prematurely?
Like what are the consequences of terminating my ONE year contract?
Thanks!!!
If you could all reply AS SOON AS POSSIBLE Id greatly appreciate that
Regards,
Chris

Make sure you quit after and not before payday.
Don't worry. Unless you do something criminal, no school has that much influence with the immigration office.will the country not grant me a VISA because I "terminated" my previous contract therefor "terminating" my work visa prematurely?
