Do you use ChatGPT to generate lesson ideas?

Unread post by akbotaefl »

Hello, everyone!
My name is Akbota and I am currently writing my thesis on the application of ChatGPT by EFL teachers.
If you use/have used ChatGPT to create lesson ideas/activities/plans, could you please participate on my small questionnaire with some open-ended questions in the end?
Here is the link: https://forms.gle/H8Feyqg6weAPq2p19
It is completely anonymous.
Thank you! Have a nice day!

Using ChatGPT to generate lesson ideas can be incredibly helpful for educators. It offers diverse perspectives and creative suggestions that can enhance lesson planning. Whether you're looking for innovative activities, discussion topics, or tailored content, ChatGPT can provide fresh ideas and inspiration. Just remember to customize the suggestions to fit your specific classroom needs and objectives.

Sometimes I still use GPT chat to spark ideas and often get inspiration from it. Every time I use it, it gives me a lot of good and unique ideas, but I still have to filter them out because sometimes I still see it has errors. But I have to admit that since it appeared, it has helped me a lot in my studies as well as my work, helping to improve my performance many times.

Hello! Using GPT chat has changed the way I work as an educator. It helps me come up with creative ideas for lessons and activities that engage students. I also use tools like https://ahelp.com/paraphrasing-tool/ to refine my content. These tools save me time and improve the quality of my work by providing quick and accurate help. Although I always tailor my materials to meet the needs of the class, these resources have greatly increased my efficiency and creativity.
