Hello everyone!
As we all know, it is more difficult to keep students, especially young learners, active in online education than face-to-face education, Therefore, the number of students who do not attend the class is higher than those who do. At the same time, the motivation of other students decreases and the lesson cannot be productive. What can be done to involve these students in the lesson and make them more active. What kind of activities would be more interesting for them and what should the teacher do?
I'm looking forward to your suggestions :)

Yes, it's true that students do not participate the same in online classes. I think that it's a good idea to make classes more interactive, with some interesting tasks, and something like that.
I think everything depends on the subject

The motivation of students has always been a problem. Even during offline classes, it was complicated sometimes to keep the attention and make students participate.
As a student, can say what I think will help.
First of all, it's some interaction. It may be a small talk not on the subject. For example, for each lesson, it can be one theme (depending on the subject) that you can discuss.
Secondly, interactive tasks. There are a lot of apps, and sites, where you can create some interactive tasks, show some videos, etc.
Also, I think it's a good idea to ask students themselves what they think. We always have a lot of ideas, and I think that at least one will be great, and suitable for the educational process.
