Hello. I'm a British native speaker currently living in Britian. I want to move to Japan and work there as an English teacher. I have a BA (Honours) degree in English Language and Literature and I will be starting a Trinity College London CertTESOL course in January.
I've visted Japan every year now for the past five years. I get on very well with the culture and the people and I have begun to learn the Japanese language. I have a partner in Japan and as such I have a need to find a job in a particular region of Japan. Because of this I don't believe the JET programme is suitable for me.
How would I go about finding an English teaching job in Japan?
What pay range should I be looking at?
Thank you in advance for any replies.
