What if you lose the physical certificate?

Unread post by theotrain »

I got a TEFL certificate years ago from a school that seems to no longer exist (TEFLocal in Buenos Aires), but i dont have the actual piece of paper anymore. I'm considering doing some teaching online and i thought having that certificate might be useful.

Is there someplace this information is registered outside the school? Or did it basically never happen if you lose the certificate?

Depends who accredited the certificate. Do you remember that?

it looks like the school was CELTA certified, so cambridge should have a record. it doesnt look like they are going to make it too easy to get, but it should be possible.

thanks!
