Periodic assessment tests

Unread post by lorenzo43 »

I teach a diverse class from 24 different countries and ages 20-45. Some of the students have college degrees and others do not. Their level of English is from beginner to advanced. How can I devise periodic assessment tests so that I can measure their progress?

I suggest you test them on whatever you have been teaching in class. That's the only fair way to deal with it.

Thanks Lucy but I was looking for tests already prepared in grammar, reading comprehension, and the like.

There is an online reading comprehension level test on EnglishClub.com. It may be possible to provide this in PDF format if you are interested.
