HiredInChina - TEFL Job Scam or Legit?

Unread post by Tiger »

I found this post below, and am now a bit worried since I uploaded my web site there and although they got me a telephone interview with Mrs. Ma at Wall Street English and she said I was qualified and was going to arrange a demo class for me, I never heard from her again after I sent her all my info, including copies of my passport and uni transcripts, address, etc. So when I called back to Wall Street to see when my demo class was going to be, they told me that the only Mrs. Ma they had there left over 2 years ago, and when I did my phone interview with her, she told me she was the HR director for the entire chain in China! WTF?

Post I found online today:

Fraud Warning HiredInChina is a blatant TEFL Job Scam and linked to Identity Theft. They use many aliases and .com, .org & .net https://abroadreviews.com/fraud-warning ... liases-and
I suggest every TEFL teacher take a visit to https://reddit.com/r/TEFLscams BEFORE they send off their resumes.
