Don't make it so hard on yourself

As a native English speaker, even I’m often baffled by the complexity of English grammar some are trying to plough through. You will not be teaching degree level grammar to students of a second language.

Stick to basics. Nouns, verbs, adjectives, singular and plural, plus the basic tenses.

Here, take this.

Copy and paste it into a word document. No need to download, just scroll down to read. Remove the unnecessary and you’ve got my workable syllabus that I designed and used for years. Above all, make your lessons interesting with games, videos, competitions … and keep away from the academic content that even you have trouble understanding.
