The China Foreign Teachers Union Spam Satire (Part 2)

Unread post by John V55 »

As it has been suggested I’m a China foreign teacher recruiter, here’s my tongue in cheek part 2 follow up to ‘The China Foreign Teachers Union Spam Satire.’ viewtopic.php?t=8943

John V55 is the director of ‘Go Suckers’ recruitment agency on the TEFL.net forum. We specialize in placements for those afflicted with TEFL ghost illusions, shadowy forum recruitment mole anxieties, ‘Someone will see my passport/resume’ paranoia and ongoing Chinese TEFL scam addictions.

Before and after photos of a TEFL.net spammer who chose ‘Go Suckers’ recruitment

But enough of our accolades, let’s get to it (clears throat, coughs). Endorsed by CFTU, CTA, ETA, FGD27 and PPDHZK and more … On reddit and opnlttr scam pages.

¥60,000 pm: 30 to 40% more if you apply directly

Free Reddit accredited Z visa
Our Heads of Education are qualified business managers
All our former employees are CFTU registered

Top to bottom. 1) Shared accommodation with free utilities. 2) Our qualified ‘teachers’ doing the ‘Performing monkey’ dance and 3) Happy ex-employees booking in for their free return flight to their home country.

Tales of woe from TEFL.net spammers who didn’t use the John V55 ‘Go Suckers’ recruiting agency.

"In fact, our school got raided twice in 3 years by the PSB and 6 of us that YOU recruited got "detained" (arrested) and sat in a dumpy jail for a month before we got deported … That's the third time I was robbed because of you." (TEFL.net spammer Atlas). Who worked on an illegal visa and complained he was deported and it was the recruiters fault. Big mistake by Atlas, he should have chosen ‘Go Suckers.’

"My TEFL colleagues prefer to read the scam warnings and the blacklists put out by the CTA, CFTU, ETA, China Scam Patrol, and ChinaScamWatch.org …" (TEFL.net spammer Vagabond). A round of applause as his ‘TEFL colleagues’ cheer him on from various Chinese deportation centres. He should have chosen ‘Go Suckers’ and scammed himself into a deportation flight without needing illegal unions, Reddit or Opnlttr.

"I got myself stuck in a part-time contract without benefits because my employer will not give me full time hours, and I am forced to work at two different locations in one day on a split shift. None of this was in my contract which my recruiter translated for me." (TEFL.net spammer Blue Moon). Who signed a contract she couldn’t read, doesn’t reveal how she was ‘forced’, but got scammed anyway. Blue Moon then linked to our heroes at CFTU who never charge for anything, but made the following offer written by someone with the English grammar level of a ten year old.

"If you are in Beijing or Shanghai, we can introduce you to the lawyer once you send us a copy of your complete unedited contract by electronic scan to legal[at]ChinaForeignTeachersUnion.org and he will charge you a f;lat 10,000 yuan fee to nullify your contract without loss of pay, nor visa." (¥5000 if you want the cheaper version of a threatening letter). Phew! What a stroke of luck, but the last month’s salary for this particular stupid was divided up between a Chinese lawyer and the CFTU. Bad decision from Blue Moon. ‘Go Suckers’ would have provided a free deportation flight and saved her ¥10,000.

Always use ‘Go Suckers’ recruitment agency for an experience we promise you won’t forget and won’t even realize you’ve been scammed.

Once again, we are compelled to stop by TEFL.net for a visit for the 4th time in 10 years to challenge the spurious claims of an apparent forum recruiter covertly operating supposedly as a fellow – teacher.

Let me clarify that the CFTU does not recruit, sell, nor endorse anything nor anyone, and we are a volunteer group of teachers that has no source of any income. We advocate for expat teachers in China, their employee tights, and do our very best to prevent scams and exploitation that targets them. We also advocate FREEDOM OF CHOICE for all foreign teachers. Our colleagues have a right to choose their place of employment whether it be a private or public school. But we want them to have access to all the facts and not just the distorted sales spiel of recruiters who often conceal the facts and legal requirements to teach in China, for their own selfish convenience. Now for those of you who never heard of the CFTU, the following will introduce us…

But first, we want to emphasize that Nobody is authorized to post on our behalf on this forum or any other. If we have something to share, we will post it ourselves under our own user name "CFTU". However, anyone and everyone is welcome to link to any of our official posts which can be found in five places as follows:

https://reddit.com/r/cftu
https://chinaforeignteachersunion.wordpress.com
https://eslemployment.com
https://opnlttr.com/search/node/CFTU

We are all volunteer teachers at the CFTU and we do not sell any product, service, or even advertising. We have no source of income and until COVID hit, our office in Haidian District of Beijing was donated. From time to time we host some social events and holiday dinners. We do not offer legal advice although we provide teachers with China's Labor Laws and Employee Rights at the above links. We are not a true labor union (which are illegal in China) but we adopted this name way back in 2008 to let all the foreign teachers know that we lobby on their behalf. We do not support nor assist foreign teachers working illegally in China. We issue a monthly newsletter to our membership and here is a sample and more are available upon request (up to 3 old copies for non-members) by email at ChinaForeignTeachersUnion@gmail;

https://www.docdroid.net/62qeqhq/cftunewsletter120-pdf

Yes, we have a lot of enemies who try to smear us from time to time and in three cases have even tried to impersonate us. Over the last 10 years we have exposed and blacklisted of 389 con artists (as confirmed by the China Scam Patrol, the CTA, and even the PSB who arrested and jailed 12 of them including one woman who uses 5 alias names and 15 alias companies to swindle teachers. She alone was responsible for getting 1,200 expats arrested jailed, fined, and deported. Those we expose certainly have an ax to grind with us, These links better explain what we do and don't do in detail.

https://www.docdroid.net/ZU9pFSI/cftu2020blacklist-pdf
https://opnlttr.com/search/node/CFTU

https://www.reddit.com/search/?q=CFTU

As for the current 2021 salary debate about averages salaries for teachers in China, there are basically many categories as the CTA pointed out in their charts, but these numbers can be further broken down into four further subcategories:

A) Genuine Qualified Teachers With Verifiable Teaching Experience and University Degrees from ACCREDITED Universities
B) Black Market "Teachers" using fake credentials
C) Those teachers who obtained their employment through recruiters and job agents (Some of them are indeed honest)
D) Those teachers that went the DIY route and negotiated their own contracts.

Although SalaryExplorer, Forbes, Huffington Post, ECA, Kroll, BBC, ETA. China Daily, Global Times, Immigration World, CTA, etc. all confirm the current 2020-2021 all-time record high salaries in China at this time, this may only be a temporary situation due to the border lock-downs caused by COVID. Supply of qualified teachers is low and the demand is high. Salaries will probably drop once the borders re-open so we will revisit this topic when that happens.

We explain all of this at our own sites listed above and will not get involved with a user who seems focused on only attacking the messengers and not the message. Hopefully the above clarifies that we have no internet envoys, trolls, nor shills posting for us. We are quite capable of speaking for ourselves and have done so on 18 forums (now 19) over the last decade. TEFL.net seems to be one of the most honorable and well-organized forums in the TEFL industry and in the past we have commended Joe for vetting his advertisers, something most TEFL forums never do.

As you many of you already may know, Debbie, Billy, Denise, and most of our crew are trapped outside of China at the moment. Hopefully, things will improve soon. With nothing more to add at this time, I sign off with a blessing and best wishes to all of you for continued good health and advice o continue your on-line work until the borders re-open. . I’ve already told you, but I’ll repeat myself. The more you and your volunteers make this into personal attacks, the more I’ll give your low-life organization a slap.

How can you have been back to TEFL.net four times in 10 years, you only joined the forum in February of this year, just after your spammers arrived and just like your spammers, you both link to the same anonymous and Google penalized web pages. Well, what a coincidence!

I’m not your personal enemy, to me you’re just another low-life spam and potential scam organization engaged in competition and attacking each other. I comment on the rubbish your spammers post and the endless click bait they're engaged in. I’m against the misleading information which if followed eventually and purely by coincidence all leads back to your illegal union.

Some of your previously scammed volunteers may even genuinely believe you’re helping people out of the goodness of your heart, but we both know what you’re doing. China Foreign Teachers Union has been banned on just about every TEFL forum in existence and you’re reduced to volunteers posting on anonymous web pages trying to pretend they have no association with you.

Here are a couple of links that give an alternative response to your feigned outrage Gregg, or is it Allen? Not that we’ll ever find out and you like your volunteer spammers will remain in the shadows. The links might or might not be true, but we’ll let the readers decide shall we, or is it something you’d prefer others not to read?

https://chinanews.net.au/2013/03/25/chi ... nese-scam/
"China Foreign Teachers Union scams expats."

https://www.opnlttr.com/letter/china-fo ... scammed-me
"China Foreign Teacher's Union scammed me."

Stay away from illegal unions including their associated link farm duplicates and the endless click baits leading you to anonymous web pages and into a world of unhealthy interest by the PSB and scammers. These click baits and the people who post them cater to the lowest end of TEFL gullibility – Don’t go there.

The problem with China is that it has let the for-profit business sector into education, which allows too many companies to by-pass normal education requirements and obviously attracts the scammers who then prey on the unqualified and gullible, often both.

Let’s introduce you to something called ‘common sense.’ Many will already know what this is, but it seems to have by-passed a minority of the younger generation. In its basic form, common sense means that if you trip over a brick whilst walking down the street it wasn’t the bricks fault, it was yours for not looking where you were going. Now, if you keep walking down the same street and tripping over the same brick we move on to Einstein’s comment of insanity: "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." This is where you, the previously scammed naïve and gullible come into it.

OK, you got scammed. You’re not the first and you won’t be the last. The natural response would be to shake your head, give yourself a slap and learn from it. The minority haven’t, you’re still as naïve and gullible as when you first went to China.

The answer to scams is simple. Don’t try to find employment in the business sector where the gullible go and scams occur. What are you, a brain surgeon? Who told you you’re worth $110,000+ a year in a developing country with half the living costs of the west? An anonymous poster on an anonymous web page and you wonder why you got scammed. Do I hear a big, Duh?!

‘But, but, but what about my ¥60,000 pm, with 30 to 40% more DIY and party animal lifestyle that everyone else has?’ They haven’t. That greed and gullibility is what led you into the scam(s) you initially fell for and which you’re now trying to click bait others into.

A tip: If you’re intent on clicking through links on anonymous web pages, run your computer through a quick malware/spyware check when you’ve finished. Some of the links you’ll be directed to at his level of click bait spam should be done with caution.

For those of you not aware, the OP has been outed as a forum TEFL recruiter listed by another user name on various blacklists and therefore has an ax to grind with the CFTU for exposing him. See. viewtopic.php?f=18&t=9042

He also keeps referring to links that have previously been identified as false, but he won't admit that. See below links which document the dirty tricks.

As for the 10+ year history of the CFTU, I think these links speak for themselves;

https://eslwatch.info/en/articles/asia- ... ticle.html

https://www.opnlttr.com/search/node/CFTU

https://www.reddit.com/search/?q=cftu

https://www.docdroid.net/ZU9pFSI/cftu20 ... df#page=11

As for the convict Craig Hill from Australia,aka "Traveler", that story has been exposed many times about 6 years ago when the CFTU was at war with EChinacities. com which was exposed by the CFTU for selling resumes to anyone who had the cash, including an identity thief as you can read here;

https://ChinaScamWatch.wordpress.com

https://chinadailymailscam.wordpress.co ... explained/

https://craighillchinadailymail.blogspot.com/

https://chinafraudpatrol.blogspot.com/2 ... craig.html

How do I know all this stuff. My partner formerly worked as a volunteer with the CFTU for three years when all this shit went down. and at the time the Echinacities story was the best gossip in Beijing since Craig eventually fessed up and outed the owner of Echinacities as a Candida citizen named Mr. Xu who was and is a fairly high ranking CCP member and suspected of being a spy. Mr. Hill redeemed himself with the exposure of Mr. Xu since he also owned another company called Sinocities and cooperated with China Scam Patrol.

Now you can understand why the OP is so quick to get aggressive any time that people challenge his true identity and purpose on this forum. Nobody begrudges hi the right to earn a living but I think most people would prefer if he just said "Hey people I worked in Mongolia and have a lot of contacts if any of you want to TEFL in Mongolia - contact me".

I found your link outing me as a recruiter interesting. Imagine my surprise when the link was about ESLCafe and ‘forum moles.’ I’ve already mentioned that I’m a recruiter for ‘Go Suckers’, but you must have taken that literally. You do understand it was satire, don’t you?

My resume means I was able to by-pass the scams and work alongside professional teachers and you got scammed by a business and ended up in a prison cell and deported. No point you now grinding your teeth in frustration, I could probably have predicted your outcome before you even went to China.

You will always be anonymous, hiding in the shadows, leading others to click baits and why it’s so easy to expose you as a spammer. Your posts will never change, nine click baits on the above one.

Throwing accusations at someone is an age old tactic to deflect from issues and not even clever. People can follow the mountain of click bait here and see for themselves that it’s just the usual links to more links spam.

Tales from the China TEFL Side

Before I even went to China I knew Asia was hierarchal and China collective. Those sociology and political theory days did come in useful after all. There is no room for individualism in China and demanding more not only makes your employer lose face (which isn’t going to happen), but the demand for greed is seen as a character defect.

A young foreign TEFL graduate arguing and demanding from a senior director? What?! You might just as well spit in their face because that would be the western equivalent. You can haggle politely certainly and especially if the rate offered is on the low side of the going rate, but you will not put one over on a Chinese businessman as many of the scammed have found out.

Reading some of the nonsense, I sometimes wonder if the click baiters have even been to China, but then I have to force myself to remember they weren’t teachers, they were wide eyed innocents employed to put bums on seats, often without even a basic degree and frequently working on the wrong visas. A different world I suppose and scams come with the territory. ‘I’m bigger, I’m the best, I’m getting more than everyone else …’ A square US peg in a round Chinese TEFL hole and the outcome in many cases was already predictable.

Thinking back, the people I met who had the hardest time were young Americans. Not all of course and no offence, but outside N. Korea the most indoctrinated people I’ve ever met. Laissez-faire capitalism has been ground into them since birth and the majority knew no other way to think. They were smart, everyone else was stupid and when it all went wrong the whole world got the blame. The same on TEFL.net; the recruiters, the schools, signing contracts in a foreign language … It’s all everyone else’s fault. I mean, if you get arrested for working on a false visa, or fake documents or at a place you shouldn’t be, whose fault is that? You went to China thinking you were going to earn big money and boasting of a fantasy lifestyle and what really happened is you got scammed and ended up with nothing.

Yet the vast majority don’t have a hard time or get scammed. They already know they’re not going to earn fantasy money but will live nicely on an average foreigner’s salary. They’re not spamming out click baits, they’re not overawed by anonymous web pages or foreign unions …

How many people you’re pretending to give advice to about a topic click on the offered link and find it takes them to an anonymous page with fifty other links and when they click on one there it takes them to yet another page with fifty links and how long do you think they carry on doing that before they realize there’s no information, just a never ending succession of more links? It’s why these anonymous web pages are regarded as scams.

What you spammers fail to understand is that without you the scammers wouldn’t exist. They’re only there because there are so many stupid arriving in China. You’re not professionals or teacher trainers and the biggest losers in all this are probably your poor parents who have to bail you out of the mess you get yourselves into. Hopefully, no one on this forum is going to follow in your footsteps.

"John, you only read and post what is convenient for YOU." Said the man whose every post involves click baiting for the CFTU. :)

I only post what I know, if I’m not sure I’ll say so. Private unions are banned in China, full stop. You can’t say I’m called a union, but I’m not really a union even though I’m all about membership for worker’s rights and "lobby on their behalf." Isn’t that what a union does? I don’t believe everything I’m told and here’s a big shock. You don’t come under total Chinese labour laws, you’re foremost subject to Immigration laws. If the immigration police say you’re out you can shout as much as you want about your rights, but you’re out; neither your employment contract or ‘unions’ can help you. It’s how the police are able to deport people they deem ‘undesirables’ without having to go through courts and a lengthy legal process.

Right or wrong? I don’t know, but it’s an alternative to the almost saint like attempt to persuade people it’s only there to help others.

"If you are in Beijing or Shanghai, we can introduce you to the lawyer once you send us a copy of your complete unedited contract by electronic scan to legal[at]ChinaForeignTeachersUnion.org and he will charge you a f;lat 10,000 yuan fee to nullify your contract without loss of pay, nor visa."

"I looked it over, it seemed ok, so I agreed. I was led to understand that they weren't going to make any money off it and it was something they did to help out teachers who were in trouble with their employers. I later found out, from my new employer, that they had paid the China Foreign Teacher's Union 5000 rmb for them to find me.
Further, the China Foreign Teacher's Union had lied to my new boss by making me a fake Master's Degree in photoshop and stretching the details of my resume."

If we add to that the attacks on everybody who disagrees with the CFTU, the BS about DIY, the amount of click baits and hiding on anonymous Google penalized web pages … Seems to me the Chinese Foreign Teacher Union likes to dish it out to others, but has a fit when criticism is directed against itself. Isn’t that the typical behaviour all scam organizations engage in?

I did click on the 2019 CFTU newsletter link posted on docdroid (for heaven’s sake, don’t click on the pop-ups to clean your computer, or download updated software!) Among the multitude of usual CFTU click baits I also clicked on the White list link that was posted by ‘Anonymous yr4gpwNOI’ and was directed to Scribd which offers a 30 day trial with credit card details up front and charges £9.90 a month to view and download. No thank you, but it’s the sort of thing I’d expect and didn’t come as a surprise.

I also clicked on a scammy looking link to reddit that promised a white list of schools ‘CFTU 2020 Whitelist’ by D. L. Foster, but somehow involving a Susie W.

‘The 2020 CFTU School & Agent Whitelist compliments of Susie W. in PuXi Shanghai. Thank you Susie and toe The China Foreign Teachers Union!’

Except it was an empty page, but under the above title was a tiny link that unsurprisingly sent me to the same scribd page as the 2019 one. I just wonder if the CFTU is on a commission from Scribd?

Despite the continuing forum attacks, I’m pleased to announce that if you now Google almost anything to do with the China Foreign Teachers Union, or the name itself, my TEFL.net threads are either first or second on the first page. Including:

viewtopic.php?t=8943
The China Foreign Teachers Union Spam Satire

viewtopic.php?t=9044
The China Foreign Teachers Union Spam Satire (Part 2)

viewtopic.php?t=8934
Why You Should Stay Away From the Chinese Foreign Teacher Union (CFTU)

Which was always my intention and I didn’t have to spend years doing it or need an army of volunteer spammers and click baits. Obviously this exposure benefits TEFL.net, but I have to acknowledge the spammers; without all the BS you often write it would have been impossible.

You know Vagabond, you are wasting your time trying to talk to John. No matter what evidence you drop in his lap he just watnts to have the last word and he will never admit he is wrong about anything. And now that he has been outed as an online forum recruiter and NOT an active TEFL teacher working in China, he will not be able to fool more people. I suggest he justs comes clean and just put a disclaimer in his signature that says; "If you want to work for a public school in Mongolia, send me a PM and I will make your dream come true"

As for the CFTU crap, I don't need them any more in my my TEFL career since I think I have learned all the lessons and vital info they distribute, and it is not likely that I will fall for any Chinese scam after all these years in China, but I definitely suggest that all the new TEFL teachers arrivals to China check them out before they even sign a contract or get on the airplane. There month newsletters are especially helpful as you can see...

https://www.docdroid.net/62qeqhq/cftunewsletter120-pdf

https://www.docdroid.net/9eTuyGK/cftunewsletter125-pdf

https://www.docdroid.net/o5MrLc6/cftunewsletter128-pdf

I can almost say, that I learned all about the hidden dangers of China from these free newsletters, and I suggest every new teacher in China or inbound to China take 30 minutes and read them. The China vets won't need them.
Before sending off your resume or passport scan, be sure to check https://reddit.com/r/teflscams and to vaccinate yourself against foreign teacher job scams.

Oh come on, lighten up Cricket. I’ll have ‘The China Foreign Teachers Union Spam Satire (Part 3) trilogy done over the next few days and you’ll love it. CFTU have already admitted you 7 spammers are CFTU members on the op here:
viewtopic.php?f=21&t=8951

But anyway, here’s another one of the click bait scam links.

https://www.chinaforeignteachersunion.c ... -great-11/

OK, I admit I scratched my head at this one from a 2015 CFTU webpage – ‘The Key Elements of Great Inspirations’ from the ‘Teachers Union Auto.’ (Don’t click on the title ‘Teachers Union Auto’, my computer blocked it as Malware).

The leading image had underneath ‘Tips for Finding Generator Installation Services You Can Trust.’ The clickbait was: ‘Got Paid Their Stolen Wages In Full Without A Lawyer In 15 Days – For Free!’ The content read as if it had been put through a google translator and of course, had nothing to do with salaries.

Normally the CFTU is just a harmless and rather tedious click bait link page, but on as with all scammers, you do have to take care what you click on.

More importantly, when someone like myself supports the mission and tactics of the CFTU, it does NOT mean that I a member of the CFTU. I have never been a member of the CFTU and don't belong to any group in China, and am not even a member of a church congregation. In China it could be a dangerous thing to visibly belong to any group. Still I am not ashamed to say I support the CFTU and I subscribe to their free newsletters because they tell teachers things that nobody ele dare to do. These examples explain why, and they also speak for themselves no matter who agrees or disagrees! In short, we all have a right to disagree with one another IMO.

https://www.docdroid.net/9eTuyGK/cftunewsletter125-pdf

https://www.docdroid.net/o5MrLc6/cftunewsletter128-pdf

And for the third time, I am telling you again. I speak only for myself. In the past I supported you when you were right, and also spoke my own mind when I disagreed with you, At times I have even disagreed with the CFTU now and then. It will always be that way. Nobody tells me what to believe or say. This shall remain the status quo until I stop breathing.

Re: The China Foreign Teachers Union Spam Satire (Part 2)

I’m not twisting words, the CFTU publicly outed you 7 as members.
I can say what I like because I’m not part of an organization and so don’t have to endorse anyone, but when you get a bunch of people turn up around the same time, all continually linking out to the same anonymous sites, on a single issue and which all promote a union, it’s not exactly rocket science who’s behind it all. That one of you were going to slip up and reveal who you’re spamming for was simply a matter of time. It’s not just me, I suspect everyone else can see that too.

Unions and the freedom to campaign is a western concept, it doesn’t work in China and to be fair to the Chinese, they’ve never said they were democratic. If something is happening in China, someone is making money out of it and it won’t be you. Like it or not, the CCP will decide what happens, not a ‘union.’ As you lot are already members of CFTU, be very sure the PSB already have enough rope to hang you with when the time comes.

Crusading for ‘rights’ in China, whether political or religious is a definite No, No! The PSB are not social workers and there are reasons why an illegal union pushing for rights is being allowed to operate. It goes way beyond the usual red envelope under the table stage and the authorities will be getting something out of it; probably among them your personal details for future use. Anonymous ‘Gregg’ or whoever he is, will not be putting himself at risk if he wasn’t making something out of it either.

Let’s be honest about this; the easily led now believing they’re spamming for a just cause have been scammed previously so it’s not exactly as if they know what they’re doing. When the CFTU has served whatever purpose it’s being allowed to operate under and they see the writing on the wall, the ones at the top will do a runner and you gullible will be left to scratch your heads, as you did previously in the scams you got involved with.

There will never be a shortage of people drawing you into organizations and scams in China and the biggest danger is not from the Chinese, but from other foreigners who exploit the western mind-set of greed and gullibility, drawing you in with tales of ¥80,000pm, DIY 30 to 40% extra and party animal lifestyles in first tier cities. That IS part of the scam because it’s leading you into something that doesn’t exist. Remember that the same greed you’re now promoting is what led you to previously getting scammed and so why lead others down that path? You’re spamming for an organization that has already been banned from just about every forum in existence and has a worse reputation and website authority than the worst of the scammers it’s meant to be warning you against.

If you’re stuck at the stage where you think ‘information’ is about click baits to illegal unions and anonymous web pages warning you not to sign contracts in a foreign language you shouldn’t really be in China and it’s no wonder so many get scammed, arrested and deported.

No one is going to hold your hand in China without there being something in it for themselves; if you’re easily led or stupid it’s the last place you want to go to and especially at the bottom end of privatized TEFL where the two legged sharks operate. You won’t beat them, they can see you coming a mile off and you’re exactly the kind of people the China Foreign Teachers Union are looking for.

I'd be willing to bet that every black market visa, job, and recruiter agent outed by the CFTU over the last 10 years has probably posted a similar post as this OP. I did a little math... Let's say an online forum recruiter snags just one victim per week with a job placement that pays the teacher 15,000 rmb a month. That means the real monthly allocation is 20,000 rmb and the recruiter and principal split the other 5,000 equally (the norm in China). That means the recruiter rakes in 30,000 rmb just from that one victim. Now multiply by 52 and you can see why these recruiter blokes hate the CFTU. So mate, I would not be surprised if one of these agents, actually torched the office of the CFTU in Beijing. They are causing them to lose 1.5 million rmb a year!

Now just imagine the referral fees they collect for sending them to a certain tefl course, or selling their resume and passport scans to an identity thief for $500 each, or to a resume broker for $100 a pop! These scumbags are raking it in while making the lives of thousands of expats miserable. Seriously, going direct to employers is the only safe way to bag a job in China.

I’ll bet every recruiter is having a go at the CFTU, said a CFTU member. It’s not just recruiters, the CFTU has a reputation as a spam and scam organization. Its membership is made up of greedy people who have previously been scammed themselves, which says it all really. If you’re gullible enough to fall for TEFL certificate scams, signing contracts you can’t read and being ripped off for your salaries you can’t blame others for your own stupidity. :)

I don’t want to sound obvious, but have you noticed it’s only you few members of the China Foreign teachers Union here that are cheering on the CFTU one after another in succession? Do you honestly believe that people are lining up here to follow in your footsteps and are eagerly clicking on your hundreds of click baits?

I used to take you seriously Mr. John but in the last two weeks I caught you in a handful of lies and now see that you play word games to make it appear that hundreds of people support your point of view when in reality, you are a one man band on this forum trying to smear the CFTU after you were outed as an online forum recruiter, which is not a big deal to most of us since you are not recruiting teachers to work at black-listed schools - only public schools which are pretty honorable. You seem to tell people you are the only person worthy of belief, and all who disagree with you are a "CFTU Spammer".

About the lies... you recently made comments that the CFTU only had a blacklist and you could not find a "White list" anywhere. I found it in 1.5 seconds when I did a online search for "CFTU White List" and here is one of 8 hits that popped up; https://www.reddit.com/r/TEFLScams/comm ... _teachers/ You also claimed that nobody except a handful of people on this forum supported the CFTU. I did another quick search and found these in the archives:

https://www.reddit.com/r/ChinaScamCentr ... ftu_china/

https://np.reddit.com/r/TEFL_TIPS_TRAPS ... nlicensed/

Also, you keep referring to people spamming for the CFTU. Why would anyone do that since the CFTU already posted their own comments and in no uncertain terms made it clear "Nobody is authorized to speak for the CFTU" and that anything not posted by user "CFTU" should be ignored. Then you repeatedly keep referring to them as an "illegal labor union" and as far as I can see, nobody said they were a legal labor union and even the CFTU admitted in their post that they were not a legal union.

Because of the above, I can't take you seriously any more Mr. John, and I now just see you as someone on a mission to smear the volunteer groups that exposes dishonest TEFL recruiters, scammers, skimmers, and identity thieves, amongst other things. For the record, I am not a member of the CFTU but after reading all your posts against them over the last 3 months, I now support them fully.

WOW, one after another CFTU members queuing up to post. Have I stirred up a hornets nest? :)

You found the whitelist? OK, I clicked on your link and there is no whitelist. There is however a small link which takes me to scribd, which I have to pay to read what is promised as a whitelist on a 30 day trial, credit card up front. No thanks. Perhaps you could publish some of those names on the whitelist that promise to pay 40 to 60% more than everyone else? It isn’t going to happen is it.

I don’t know how many people support me and that’s not my purpose. My purpose is to warn of scams and spammers.

https://ruqqus.com/+RuqqusAdmin/post/85 ... pam-guilds
‘The following guilds (including Chinese Foreign Teachers Union) have been banned for generating large amounts of spam … This list may be added to as we finish nuking this spam ring.’

‘For the record, I am not a member of the CFTU.’ Too late, the CFTU already said they were sent to TEFL.net by its members. You know, the ones endorsing it over and over again? The more you CFTU spammers promise in your click baits, the more you’re exposed. I’d do the same to any scam organization, not just CFTU.

Stop flattering yourself John. According to your own admissions you never had any dealings with the CFTU and only worked for a public school in Inner Mongolia. You also told us that 2017 was the last year you worked in China. So essentially not only are you out of the loop, but you are once again talking about things of which you have no personal experience. You virtually ignore the comments of others and keep spewing YOUR OWN PERSONAL OPINION, and we have listened to your rant for months.

You have not proven any of your crazy conspiracy theories. Instead you keep repeating yourself as if somehow by making the same allegations over and over again. It will somehow come true! Not one person on this forum has shared your opinion about the CFTU and I challenge you to explain and prove that the CFTU or anyone on this forum is "greedy" and somehow makes money from posting warning links. Are you aware that Joe, the owner of TEFL.net was one of the first people in the TEFL world to post scam warnings right here on this forum way back in 2011? (Kudos to Joe) Is Joe also "greedy"?

Almost every TEFL Forum has some Scam alert thread or section and here are just some examples;

https://abroadreviews.com/forums/intern-abroad-programs

https://www.esl-jobs-forum.com/viewforum.php?f=33

viewtopic.php?f=16&t=4528

https://eslwatch.info/en/articles/asia- ... ticle.html

https://www.eslbase.com/forum/viewforum ... -warnings/

There are over 5,000 scam warning posts in just these five forums by more than 10,000 users. Are they all greedy John, or do you think just maybe they were cheated and just want to help others? Are all these people "CFTU spammers". Intelligent people know that the reason people "spam" is because they have something to sell. WTF is the CFTU selling John and for how much? Even their fricking membership is free! In summary, you are either paranoid, grossly misinformed , or you are the undercover forum recruiter that others believe you are viewtopic.php?f=18&t=9042
