A resource centre for B2+ conversational worksheets for adults

Unread post by marktovey » 02 Dec 2020, 10:14

Hi all,

I figured I'd share this here. I have been teaching English for a few years, and I found there was a shortage of B2+ materials for adults that weren't expensive or incredibly bland  . So, I created my own :D  .

Free lesson titles you can take and use today for $0:

Why don't country flags use the colour purple? https://esluncaged.blogspot.com/2020/12 ... urple.html
(Explains the history of why national flags rarely include purple; six flag-related idioms/phrasal verbs e.g. red flag, to flag (someone) down, to flag (something) up). Also a brief example and exercise about the subjunctive passive.

What's that ringing in your ears? https://esluncaged.blogspot.com/2020/11 ... ears.html
(Medical, about tinnitus - also explanation of ear-related idioms and the differences between "to hear", "to listen", "to overhear", "to eavesdrop" and some information about tinnitus for listening and reading comprehension.

Why are planes painted white? https://esluncaged.blogspot.com/2020/11 ... white.html
(Business English, focused on the airline industry. Some listening and reading comprehension related to the lesson title as well as the "brace-for-impact" position and the science behind it. Also, idioms about flying).

In the PDF, for each exercise, it says "answer the questions in the video". If you click on the word video it is hyperlinked and will take you to the URL. :)

I'm still lost. What PDF? I don't see anything that says 'Download PDF' or anything like that.

Sorry, I don't know how to help you. It should be self-explanatory.
