If you teach privately, do you have a cancellation and payment policy? For example, how do you deal with last-minute cancellations? Do you charge up-front or later? Do you think it's necessary to have terms and conditions or play by ear?
It's easy to get taken advantage of, but one doesn't want to appear like a ruthless money-grubber.
I'd love to hear your ideas. Thanks!
Cancellation and payment policy?

Re: Cancellation and payment policy?
Actually, yes I do. It's very simple. Lessons must be cancelled 24 hours in advance or else they get charged.
