Last minute request for Everyday English

Unread post by thanhmy » 13 Oct 2017, 08:46

Dear All

I have had an emergency request from a student that is going to the UK next week and wants to brush up on some real life English in a lesson or 2, she is Intermediate level. She is mainly concerned with everyday english which she will need to open a bank account, find accommodation, deal with any problems etc.

Can anybody recommend any websites where I can find material of this nature as in such a short space of time I'm a bit stuck for ideas.

I'd use the real thing and create role play activities around them. Go on the bank's website and any site that advertises housing rentals.
