Short term internships.

Unread post by rmorgs » 26 Jan 2017, 19:25

I'm a recently qualified TEFL teacher, since finishing my combined course I've been searching for a short term internship, between 4-6 weeks (possibly a little longer), to build on my confidence and knowledge as I'm no where near comfortable enough to jump in at the deep end and take classes, I've seen endless advertisements for 4-12 month internships but nothing on a short term basis. There was one company but they only accept CELTA and TESOL candidates, which to me makes no sense. Does anyone have any suggestions for short term internships?

It's difficult, almost impossible.

Short stints don't work because by the time you and the students get to work well together, it's time to leave.
