How to get a job in Saudi Arabia

Unread post by ivanwebb1 » 08 Jul 2015, 14:55

Hello,

Thank you for any response. I'm have a bachelor's in Finance, I have a TEFL certificate, I have years experience in private tutoring, and I'm a native English speaker. I'm having trouble finding a job in all of the following Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, and Saudi Arabia. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

All the best,

Ivan

It could be that you have no experience teaching groups or teaching in a school, that's what I understood from what you say. The Gulf States are popular with teachers who want to make money. You'll be in competition with very experienced teachers.
Can you get some classes teaching groups now then you can add it to your CV.

I believe you need professional teacher status in your own country and not just TEFL? I'd be interested if that's wrong and are there age limits.
