Suprasegmental??? Could do with some help.

Unread post by Divingflo » 14 Mar 2015, 21:52

Hello everyone, just hoping you might be able to clarify something for me..

I'm presently working my way through Cert TESOL and am in the process of creating the learner profile.

The snag is that I have to identify segmental and suprasegmental problems from the interview. I cannot find anywhere on the internet an explanation for the difference between the two.. I know segmental is individual sound problems but I can find nothing explaining suprasegmental..

Any help would be greatly appreciated..
thanks,
N

That's odd. I just typed suprasegmental into google and came up with tons of links. Here are a few of them:
