Starting out as a new (online) teacher

Unread post by Katjad »

Hello! I'm Katja. I recently completed a 165 hour Level 5 TEFL Course and am currently completing an Online and 1-1 course. I don't have a degree (apart from the TEFL one) and I am a German citizen living in the UK. I don't have a IELTS certificate but have got an EFSet certificate of C2 (78%). My English pronunciation is excellent and I don't have an accent.
My question is: What chances do I have to be accepted by online ESL companies? More questions will follow, as I really want to give teaching ESL a proper go (re-inventing myself)

I think https://www.amerilingua.com/ will be a good choice. This is an educational website designed for teachers and English language learners, with an emphasis on American English. Additionally, ESL resources are also available here
