I passed my course so what now?

Unread post by Allophony » 24 Oct 2016, 19:56

I passed my telf course with Love tefl I-to-I (120 hour professional course) so I just thought I'd check here to see what advice I can get about what to do now.

I think I might like to find a 3 or 5 month gig first and then move onto a year long contract or something.

I already have a BA(hons) in English Language and Creative writing.

I think I always imagined myself going to either east Asia or Eastern Europe or maybe central Europe. If I had to just pick a country on the spot right now I'd say China. I know there is ample work there and it's place I'd love to visit in its own right.

Adults or children are cool.

I'd appreciate any advice or guidance anyone has for me.

Hello Allophony,

I would personally recommend ESL Jobs Lounge (www.esljobslounge.com) if you want to browse available options. Creating an account is free and you can apply to jobs directly from the site. I got my first teaching job in India using this site but they have jobs from all over the world.

I hope this helps and good luck!
