How do I write a CV as a newly qualified teacher?

Unread post by Sparinoid » 12 Sep 2020, 10:54

Hi everyone,

I've just completed my TEFL course and I am unsure of how to write my CV. I have no experience of working as a TEFL instructor and I am unsure of the layout.

Would I mention my previous jobs considering I've only ever worked in retail? I have experience and an English literature tutor but that's it.

What should I include?

You can get some suggestions from an article I wrote some time:

Or copy the format I use for my own which is in my signature line below.

Concentrate on your strong points, which means your experience in English Lit’ and your degree and don’t mention actual jobs in retail except to say you’re good at economics. :)
