Unread post by Paula »

I have a class of business students. They want to learn how to write letters. Has anybody got an idea for making it more interesting?

thanks

Making business letters fun

Unread post by sharon »

Hi Paula,

Something I do with my students is get them to write the opposite of a good letter. By thinking about everything that's bad, they become more creative.

They do thisin groups to share ideas. then they all look at each others letters.

You can use this as a discussion of what makes a good letter. I spend one lesson with them writing the letters and one lesson where we talk about what a good letter consists of.

hope this helps

There are some general tips here:

and some more suitable links on my blog. Am trying to get some more writing stuff and a list of links up on this subject too.
