Funding for CELTA in Northern Ireland

Unread post by Jamie1980 »

Hello,

I'm intending to apply for the CELTA this Autumn in Belfast. I've seen an earlier thread on the forum where an Advanced Learner Loan is suggested, though I'm aware these are only available in England. The training provider was unsure of what's available. I'd be grateful if anyone can suggest any sources of funding that would be available in Northern Ireland.

Thanks,
Jamie

Any TEFL (even a Celta TEFL) is so comparatively cheap that I would not waste me time or belittle myself looking for funding. If you can't drum up the money to pay for a 4-week course, you won't cut the grade when you get abroad and are on your own.

This is not meant to be harsh. Just realistic.
