They're asking about you as a student; what you learnt and what you observed in the classroom.

Re: coursebook teachers' guides

I don't usually look at them, time factor for me.

But when I do look, I often find some useful extra activities. I don't read about how to handle the regular exercises in class.

Re: Teacher Training at Berlitz and other renowned language schools

Re: Teaching with a Speech Impediment

I don't think it's an issue. I have the same thing. If it's slight, it won't matter. When teaching your students pronunciation, you can use a recording instead of modelling words yourself. You can also learn techniques to help yourself pronounce words with the correct r sound.

I suggest you look into that first and see where you get to. You can also look into TEFL but the work conditions won't be so good, especially for a new teacher.

Re: Please help choose best Tefl course!

Are you sure you want to teach EFL. you could also teach in regular high schools for expat children in almost any country in the world.

You already have the qualifications and skills.

Re: How to get a job in Saudi Arabia

It could be that you have no experience teaching groups or teaching in a school, that's what I understood from what you say. The Gulf States are popular with teachers who want to make money. Re: Suprasegmental??? Could do with some help.

That's odd. I just typed suprasegmental into google and came up with tons of links. Here are a few of them: http://global.britannica.com/EBchecked/topic/574738/suprasegmental http://emedia.leeward.hawaii.edu/hurley/Ling102web/mod3_speaking/3mod3.7_suprasegmentals.htm http://www.merriam-webster.com/d...
