I wouldn't pay anything up front.

Have you asked your university how they made a decision to add the link: was it random? Or really based on a belief that the school is reliable.

Have you looked at Learner English, I think the author is Michael Swan, could be wrong. It's an excellent resource for this type of thing.

Annisa,

Why don't you take a piece of paper and write out the pros and cons of each job and then compare them?

Yes, agreed. For chain schools, it can depend on which branch someone works at.

Mohammad,

This is normal for students who are just learning the different forms of the conditional. they just need lots and lots of practice and correction from the teacher and each other

No need to worry, everybody is like that when they start. Buy yourself a good grammar book, then read and learn it.

Re: Future teacher question involving college...

Probably best to ask the college where one is studying; the college will be able to advise on the options.

If you post the lesson plan, people can make comments more easily. Please go ahead and do that.

Re: Prospective teacher; saving money?

No, sorry, I don't know. I haven't worked in the Gulf.

the best way to find out is to just do a job search or contact schools and ask them what their requirements are.

Best of luck!

Hi Checkerboard,

Welcome! Have you thought of the Gulf countries (Saudi and others)? It's not a life style that suits everybody, but you can save a lto while working there.

Hi Terra,

I'm wondering why you've decided it's unlikely you can do a face-to-face TEFL qualification. They really are the best, and you seem to agree.

Re: Who owns the IP rights to lesson plans created by teache

I've just thought of something else on this: if you were paid for the time spent preparing the lesson (this is sometimes mentioned in a contract), then the IP rights belong to your employer. IP law changes from country to country so Polaris is right to ask a question about where you are.
