Glaring teachers' incompetence

Recently in Kaduna state, Nigeria, teachers were subjected to competency test based on primary four questions. Unfortunately, 21,780 teachers failed woefully. Now, they are about to be sacked. What could be responsible for this gross incompetence of the so-called custodians of knowledge? To get deta...

Re: SUPPORT “WEALTHY TEACHERS” CAMPAIGN

Thanks for your helpful advice. Indeed, in the course of writing the book i spotted a number of wealthy teachers (in the real sense). Some own big and flourishing schools. I was quite amazed at their successes. Interestingly , they started small. Others have other thriving businesses they run. I did...

Re: SUPPORT “WEALTHY TEACHERS” CAMPAIGN

That's not the idea. IF you really checked out the campaign page, you would have observed that am asking for support to publish the book '22 Secrets of Wealthy Teachers, Vol 1'. It's a thoroughly researched work spanning 4 years. It chronicles the achievements of successful teachers, and how others ...

Re: RETIREMENT PLANS FOR TEACHERS

Thanks Mr John for offering your thoughts on the issue. For those teachers in Nigeria, pension is the way out. The reason is that savings diminish with consistent inflation rate. Times are hard in Nigeria now. That is why smart teachers plan adequately for retirement to avoid misery and poverty.

you have to show a lot of patience. i also recommend the use of pictures and making the class as engaging as possible to keep the child's interest going.

Re: Could someone help me with a lesson.

Since you are new in the school, it takes time to understand the students, and what interest them. Also your class should be conversational. Ask them questions, do not do all the talking alone draw them in.
