• Has developed a huge portfolio of teaching materials for young learners including flash cards, songs PowerPoint presentations and cartoons to suit almost any topic. This has taken thousands of hours, and a better-prepared teacher would be difficult to find.

Work Experience
VIP Kids English Teacher and Team Leader June 2014-Present
• Working mostly with students aged 3-6.
• Focusing on theme based lessons, where in each class students were expected to learn 15 words within a topic and some basic sentences in each class.
• Thoroughly preparing lessons with a huge amount of visual aids to ensure that an English only environment can be maintained.
• Training and developing materials for less experienced teachers.
• Arranging extra-curriculum events such as football and ballet camps.
• Recruiting new students by giving free demo classes and maintaining an excellent success rate.
• Developing a reputation for delivering both highly effective and enjoyable classes – VIP Kids English wins most of it’s business through referral and most new clients specifically ask for me to be their teacher.

Yung Wing International Teacher Sept 2012-June 2014
• Working at the city’s most prestigious international school mostly working with young students, developing their English skills to the appropriate level for them to study British curriculum from secondary school.
• Being extensively trained in early childhood education.
• Meeting regularly with parents to discuss progress. This school is the most expensive in the city so the role came with high expectations.
• Submitting weekly lesson plans and progress reports.

Gateway Language Village Teacher Feb 2011 – Sept 2012

• Teaching English through extra curriculum activities.
• Most students were teenagers with a good understanding of English but needed to build their confidence in preparation for high school or university in England or America.
• Activities included chess, art, life skills and various sports.
• Lessons were prepared from scratch as there were no books used. For this reason the role required a lot of creativity and an especially strong work ethic.
• Regularly achieving extremely high scores in student appraisals and being the first teacher ever to receive a perfect score during the probation/training period.

• Working with a very diverse range of students, from three year olds to adults and with varying English levels.
• Using a range of text books, mostly from the Cambridge University Press series.
• Accompanying students on several trips to some of China’s most famous cities. Giving English lessons and providing other activities to maximize the learning potential of each trip.

Part Time Positions Teacher June 2010-July 2017

On top of the previously stated roles I have held part time positions at several language centers, international schools, universities, businesses (training their staff) and had countless private students, many of whom now live in England.
