Position Overview:
We are seeking certified and creative language instructors to teach live, online lessons to individual learners or small groups. Instructors can teach both theme-based courses and standalone classes. Standalone classes are one-time sessions that are not part of a larger course structure, allowing instructors to focus on specific topics or skill areas tailored to the interests and goals of learners.

Themes for both courses and standalone classes can include, but are not limited to: nutrition and health, wellness and relaxation, real estate, finance, education, travel, business, children’s topics, hobbies, sports, and more. We also encourage instructors to introduce themes they believe learners will love to explore!

What We’re Looking For:
– Certified instructors in ESL, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, or other languages.
– A Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in education, linguistics, communications, or a related field that supports theme-based teaching.
– At least 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a virtual environment.
– A passion for teaching and sharing unique skills or experiences.
– Creative and engaging teaching methods with a focus on interactive learning.
– Experience in theme-based or specialized language teaching is a plus.
– The ability to design courses that align with the CEFR framework for English or other recognized frameworks for different languages is an advantage.

Responsibilities:
– Teach live, interactive lessons tailored to specific themes or as standalone classes.
– Optionally design courses, with compensation available for course design.
– Ensure course design aligns with the CEFR framework for English or other recognized frameworks for different languages.
– Foster an engaging, interactive, and positive virtual classroom environment.
– Provide feedback and support to learners to help them achieve their goals.
