Before and After—Nagasaki 9 August 1945

Today, 9 August 2015, is the 70th commemoration of the day that the United States of America dropped an atomic bomb over the Japanese city of Nagasaki, instantly killing 40,000 civilians and leaving the same number to die later.

Here is Nagasaki in 1945, before they dropped the bomb:
