Urgent Help Needed!

Unread post by najaya »

Hello!
I'm a bit overwhelmed with starting the whole job seeking process. I am 22, just completed Certificate III in TESOL (in Australia) and I am desperate for a short term teaching job in Europe this year (preferably with kids). I don't have a degree but I do hold a British Passport.
Question 1- do you think it's possible for me to land such a job?

Question 2- Any suggestions about the best websites to look for a job? I am slightly scared of relying solely on the internet to secure a job over there... are there ESL teaching recruitment agencies that could do this for me?

Any help or suggestions you could offer would be greatly appreciated!

I have quite a few friends working in Vigo, Spain, and a lot of them work on a summer course for July with kids - try my friend Ed, he's probably gonna be working there this year - he's his contact info - http://www.omniprof.ning.com/profile/edward

Have you had any luck yet?

Cheers
Steve

i should also add that the omniprof site in general is full of people working in spain so you could try asking over there for help. most are former colleagues of mine and might be able to give you some sound advice

Tell me if you hear anything!
