Teaching on a remote island
I'm off to teach on an island with limited resources and would like some ideas of how I can be creative with my teaching. I will be teaching groups of 4 or 5 adults, some basic and some more proficient in English. I won't have use of the internet or textbooks. If anyone has had a similar experience or can recommend anything to take or do while out there that would be great!

Hi
There was a book written by some teachers in Polnad on teaching with no resources. Sorry I can't remember the name but I'm sure if you hit some Polish ELT sites they may turn up for you. i used the book and it was good.
My other suggestion would be to get as much stuff downloaded before you go. That way, even if you don't have aprinter you have ideas that can sget your brain juices flowing.
Good luck with your job.
John
ps what part of the world are you going to?
