Hello!
Ok, I'm looking into courses to get me started on the TEFL career, and I find myself drawn toward the Cert TESOL more than the CELTA (maybe because it has more letters - I really don't know why). Although most of the people I have spoken with at the college I volunteer at tend to have CELTA and have moved onto DELTA to secure their jobs.
I was just wondering, is it possible to do the Cert TESOL and then after my travels, take the DELTA? Or would it have to be the Dip TESOL? The problem I've found, is that there aren't that many places offering the Dip TESOL (just one in London). Would I be limiting career progression because of my preference for a longer qualification?
Any advice offered on this subject would be great!
Thanks,
Arturo

Re: Delta from Cert TESOL
If you want to take the DELTA, having a Cambridge CELTA or Trinity Cert TESOL are completely equal. I'm sure there must be more than one Trinity Diploma provider in the world though!
