Hi there!
I noticed there are (many) different institutions where one can study to obtain a TEFL certificate/diploma.
I'm putting together a lesson - I'm trying to make a GOOD(!) one - so I would like to hear what you were taught about what the important elements in a lesson are.
So just to see whether or not I'm on the right track, I would like to ask each and every one of you reading this message to name some (5-6) elements that you might expect to be included in a lesson.
Thanks in advance!
What are the essential elements of a lesson plan?

Hello,
Here are some essential elements to add to your lesson plan, the list is not complete:
aims, this is what you expect students to be able to do at the end of your lesson.
target language, ie what language will the students be studying or using.
skills work, this covers learning and practising the 4 skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking).
anticipated problems, which areas do you think your students will find difficult.
solutions to the problems you mention.
This is a closed forum, if you wish to get responses from other members, I suggest you also put your question in another forum.
