Discussion for teachers preparing students for exams (eg TOEFL, TOEIC, Cambridge) or tests in general.
I'm looking for an "off-the-peg" assessment test.
something quick (30 minutes) and simple that won't put of total or at least, false beginners.
i have used the "Interchange" assessments but they are far too daunting for my lower level students who feel quite dejected after sitting in a room for 50 minutes unable to guess more than 3 correct answers.....
I really haven't got the time to adapt them for lower level use either.

Check out my answer to a similar request here:http://www.tefl.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=2074
I offer any information or advice 'as is' and hope that it has been of help. I am not an admin of this board, and my postings do not necessarily reflect the opinions of the board management.
