Extensive reading in the classroom

I've just received your post. Thanks a million for your advice. Your last point leaves me with a question: "How to carry out extensive reading inside the classroom?" Could you please advise me on this? What type of texts are appropriate and what activities are there to accompany the texts?

I'm afraid that was a typo in my last post to you. I was referring to reading in the classroom and not extensive reading.

Of course, extensive reading can be carried out in the classroom using the same texts as you would outside the classroom. However, I don't think it is the best use of time in the classroom.
