All good advice. Another good thing about being paid in Chinese money is that it's appreciating all the time against the dollar/pound/euro so that not only can you save money but the value of your savings increases too.

Great stuff. I (more than likely) will be going to work for my company in Shenglang for the next academic year. So I am sure I will keep this in mind.
