Falling Intonation.

Unread post by Hubert »

Hi,

I need access to activities and/or games that could be used to teach native speakers of Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Polish, Burmese and Russian when to correctly use falling intonation when they are speaking in English. Do you know of any such activities? I should point out, by the way, that I have just being checking out the ESL activities, ESL articles and ESL games links that are on the TEFL.net website. There is not much there that is useful to me and I need the information I require by Friday of this week, Australian time.

Yours,
Hubert.

Falling intonation

Have you tried the book Pronunciation Games by Mark Hancock?

If you put the title into a google search, you should find it. It's not specifically for the nationalities you mention; but there are intonation games. I'm sure you'll be able to adapt the activities. You could do that with any intonation game or activity.
