Are you a victim of the China ESL Tax Scam?

I had always suspected this for months but had no way to prove it until my flatmate's BF sent her this link today:

Apparently a lot of the private Chinese schools are collecting taxes from our pay checks but they are not even paying taxes - just keeping the money! At my school they deduct 22% for taxes and we never get an itemization. Anyway the above link has a tax calculator to show you how much you are supposed to pay in tax (Every province is China is different) and how to know if you are being cheated.

Why am I not at all surprised? Sometimes I think ripping off foreigners in China is a national sport - just like ping pong.
