Hello everyone, I am new to these forums and this is my first post. I have recently completed the CELTA course and have been applying for jobs online, unfortunately I don't have a degree. I didn't realise before I did the course how difficult it would be to find a teaching post without one, especially online it seems.
I am planning to go to Spain in the next week or so from England to try and catch the recruitment season and secure a job. However, I haven't received my CELTA certificate in the post yet, but I do have an end of course report written by my tutor with an expected grade and evaluation of my performance on the course.
Will the fact I can't produce a degree certificate or an official CELTA certificate be very detrimental in finding a job? I don't want to waste my time and money on a trip which is very unlikely to be successful.. Or will the fact that I am there, enthusiastic and very flexible allow me to land a job during the January period?
Thanks for any help or advice given
