Using a 'Functional' CV, I only have some TEFL experience.

I'm thinking about changing my CV to the Funtional format on the basis that I only have a small amount of Tefl experience, doing one to one tutoring. I should also note I have my BA degree. What do you think?

That's quite a good idea. Google my article "The perfect CV and cover letter for a TEFL teacher" for more tips on padding out a CV.

Thanks a lot Alex, that's very helpful. My only criticism about using a functional CV is the fact you have to put your academic record at the end of it. Or atleast that's what most people seem to be doing with a functional CV. My academic results are one of my strong points and I thaught it might be good to keep it at the top, maybe put it un the qualifications section.

Hello,

I guess it depends on the country. When we do the recruiting, I search for 1. degree, 2. teaching qualification (e.g. TEFL certificate), 3. experience, 4. international experience.
