Should I buy a suit?

Unread postby TroySantos » Fri Jul 14, 2006 7:47 am

HIYA!

Should I buy a suit? I live in Thailand where I can get decent suits for less than $100 US. But if suits are not necessary then I won't bother. If I can get by with nice pants and a business shirt, fine. I'll only be there a year and there's no way I'll use them after Korea.

Thanks so much,
Troy.

Hi Troy,
It all depends on where you think you'll end up working. In most cases you can get by with a nice shirt and pair of pants. If you had a job in a uni. then a suit could very well be expected of you. In an academy, most of us dressed casually.

HIYA!

Thanks for the reply. I suppose I'm underqualified for a uni job as I don't have any certification. I'm about out of time before I've gotta go anyway and haven't bought a suit so looks like I'll go casual.

Thanks,
Troy.
