Help!! 6hours business English Every day

Unread post by Mariem »

I have a Spanish students who is coming to do a course , On a one-to-one basis, for one week. He has insisted on six hours a day which personally I think is too much as he will be on overload. However, he is preparing for the FCE and he wants to practice writing and grammar in particular.
Also wants to prepare for interviews in English.

Does anyone out there have any suggestions as to how I can make lessons more informative and interesting. Six hours a day is a lot to cover and I am wondering how I can hold his interest.

Any suggestions??

With both job interviews and FCE to practice, it shouldn't be a problem. My ideas for the former on TEFL.net:

My materials for the same point on my blog:

My stuff for FCE, on Onestopenglish:

This is one motivated student. Lots of luck with him. It sounds like a lot but its only for one week. Just be yourself and I bet he would appreciate all your conversation in Spanish. This'll help with the learning and cause him to be mindful of how the language sounds not only how to write and read Spanish.
