Korea is a mixed bag like anywhere else. It gets a bad rap on internet forums, however bad news is always more interesting to read about and talk about right? I have found that many people are in Korea getting on with their lives, enjoying it, meeting people, having fun, saving money, and, yes having bad days and bitching and moaning about it. Same- same. Just watch out for the taxi drivers
. Realise it's a very different culture and country. Make an effort to make friends with people who may have different ideas and values to you. Get to know your boss and co-workers. Don't sweat the small stuff. Do your research.
