In my experience it's been an English related degree (e.g. English, linguistics, literature, or even straight TESL etc).
Personally I'd go for a proper degree from a proper university; it is worth more in terms of learning than buying a piece of paper and is worth more to you as an individual as well to know you've completed a respected line of study.
