I know this has probably been asked several times before, but is there any impact/difference caused by choosing one over the other? I've searched and searched but I think I really need anecdotal evidence. Has anyone ever been turned down for a job (or think they have been turned down) due to having the Trinity cert and not the CELTA?
What about further career opportunities eg with the British Council etc? Obviously, when going for a more specialised career, you would need to possess either the DELTA or the Trinity diploma and maybe even a Masters. So, has anyone ever seen a job posting that specified the DELTA or Cambridge-related qualifications over the Diploma?
To be fair, I can't find anything myself, only one job in Hong Kong that specified a qualification for young learners like the YL add-on to the CELTA, which means that the Trinity might not be sufficient, but then can you do the YL add-on after taking the Trinity?
Honestly, I think waaaaaay too much, so any help you can give me would be fantastic!
