Mobile Phones in the Classroom

Unread postby nicolah » Mon Apr 25, 2011 2:54 pm

I'm doing some research into ways of improving classroom behaviour of groups of teenage ESOL learners in respect of using mobile phones during lessons. Can anyone advise on their own college/school (or personal) policy? Does anyone insist that students put their phones in a tray on entry to the classroom? Does it work? Grateful for any suggestions...

Of course, that will become a contributory idea. Normally, i don't like to allow students to use their phone in classroom. You can follow the method if you have to manage the situation well.
