Getting Hired With a Criminal Background

Hi,

I am TEFL certified with a BA in Psychology. I am a very responsible and smart person who made one mistake last year. I was arrested for DWAI, which is a lesser form of DUI. I do not have a drinking problem, and this happened on one of the rare nights I went out drinking with friends. I really, really want to teach ESL in Japan or South Korea. Do you know of any schools that will hire me despite my criminal background? Your help is greatly appreciated.
